ThisWeek in AI - Products / Features
1) GPT-vNext (GPT-5): OpenAI made two announcements this morning, 1) A new Safety and Security Committee that is tasked with putting guardrails around OpenAI projects including new model training, led by Sam Altman, Adam D’Angelo, Nicole Seligman and Bret Taylor, and 2) OpenAI has started training its GPT-vNext which may or may not be called GPT-5.
Company said, the new committee will deliver a new safety process in the next 90 days, so its safe to say that GPT-vNext, whatever it is called, wont be available for at least 90 days, but we know its coming this winter!
2) Truecaller Voice Clone: Truecaller, the widely-used caller ID and call blocking app, is teaming up with Microsoft to introduce an innovative voice cloning feature. This new capability allows you to clone your voice, enabling it to screen calls on your behalf. Now, you won't need to personally answer calls from unknown numbers, your cloned voice will handle it for you.
Check out the video below to see the new Assistant feature in action. With this update, all of the Assistant's functionalities will be available in your own voice.
3) Viggle: Discover a fantastic app that brings your characters to life with dance animations. You can upload your own character or create one from scratch using a simple prompt. Describe the dance moves you want or point the app to a video to mimic the movements. It’s incredibly easy and fun!

4) IYO: We've seen some AI-powered consumer hardware hit the market recently, but many have failed to generate positive press. This wasn't due to a lack of belief in the product, but because they didn't deliver on their original promises.
IYO wants to change that with their AI-powered earbuds, IYO One, coming to the market this winter. You can reserve a pair now for $59. The earbuds will be available in two models: a 16GB Wi-Fi version priced at $599, and a 32GB Wi-Fi+LTE version for $699.
The TED video below showcases a demo of IYO One, highlighting how it solves common daily challenges in public spaces. If the product lives up to its claims, it could be a revolutionary gadget. However, I don't see myself ditching my phone for AI gadgets anytime soon.
5) Hello Wonder: AI is set to revolutionize our world in the next 3-5 years, with even more dramatic changes over the next 10-15 years. It's vital for parents to introduce their children to this powerful technology in a safe and supportive way.
Hello Wonder makes it easy to create a safe environment where kids can learn to interact with AI and use it to their advantage.
