Buy/Sell Prompts, AI writes job proposals, Microservice in secs and more!

We've kissed 2022 goodbye and now it's time to welcome 2023 with open arms! I'll be spending my first week in Las Vegas at the CES Conference - if you’re there too let me know in the comments...I'd love to catch up with some familiar faces (and maybe hear your best dad joke). ThisWeek in AI - Five

1) Proposal Genie: A super simple solution that helps Gig workers write proposals for jobs on Upwork. Add your qualifications, copy/paste Upwork job description and hit generate and you are done! A professional buttoned up proposal is ready to go!

If you are a Gig worker, give it a shot.

2) Super Reply: A Chrome/Edge plugin that could make your life a bit easier if you respond to a lot of emails every day. Super Reply analyzes email in your inbox and comes up with an appropriate response. It lets you select between multiple 'Tone' options before coming up with 2-3 potential responses to select from.

3) BuildAI Space: This one is my favorite this week! It lets you create microservices by simply describing what you want it to do. For example, I typed in 'a service that generates a list of Persian names for newborn girls' it expanded on that and created a service that not only spits out a list of names when asked, but also include their meaning.

In the left panel, it shows the prompts that are being sent to the AI models to generate a response. You can edit the prompts to modify the response/functionality.

Created another service that just proposes solutions for any given problem. For the following one I typed in, "I just robbed a bank, what do I do?". Pretty good response to that silly question.

4) Murf.AI: Super simple service that a really impressive job of generating voice from text. In copied a summary from one of the articles I published earlier in the day and pasted in Murf. I broke it down and let me select a voice and quickly generated the audio. All of that in just about a minute. You can listen to the full audio here.

5) Prompt Base: Who didn't see this coming? A marketplace for art prompts! Enough said!

Over the holidays I did what anyone working in the tech would do, I taught my 5 and 7 year old nieces how to write prompts in Midjourney to create art. Here are the results.
