ThisWeek in AI - Issue #6
It was an exciting week in the world of Artificial Intelligence. Don't worry I got it all covered. Lets get started!!
ThisWeek in AI - Five
1) Boomy: So you've never played a single musical instrument before but want to release a single or an album on Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon Music? No biggie, Boomy got you! Boomy lets you create unique music, in minutes, that reflects your style and taste and release it to popular music platforms. Boomy owns the rights but its free for creators to use however they like + original artist will be paid a share of royalties from the music platforms like the ones mentioned above.

2) TLDR: Dan Witters created this extension out of his desire to consume content as efficiently as possible. There are many browser extensions that summarize text, however, this is the first plugin I've stumbled up on that processes audio and video to create a quick summary. Dan tells me that the extension is using opensource tech to generate summaries and plans to focus on UX and content quality improvements in the coming months. Extension works great already, but I'm still looking forward to these updates! FYI - It comes with a free 7 day trial but needs and active subscription after that.
You can see a summary of this video generated by TLDR below.
3) ChatGPT: OpenAI opened ChatGPT, their take on conversational AI, to public last week. I've tested to plan trips, write songs and recipes, general questions about health and life, etc.. responses were really impressive. A lot of people in the Twittersphere are comparing ChatGPT responses with Google search to suggest ChatGPT is better and is a threat to Google, but I'm not sure we are there, yet. Still, its the best conversational AI I've seen till date.
#1 I requested it to trip to NY and come up with Christmas decoration ideas.
#2 I asked for other directors who make Quentin Tarantino style of movies.
How do you think it did?
4) Getimg.AI: GetImg offers many a few AI powered tools and one of them is out-painting that helps you erase and recreate parts of your image or just extend parts that never existed. In the demo below I'm doing both, I erased part of the image and recreated a face looking straight and then created other parts that never existed.
5) Rillavoice: This tech leverages the power of AI to to boost sales by recording and documenting in-person conversations to later analyze and provide recommendations to help close deals. Site claims to be fully compliant with privacy laws in US and EU.
